This is the second edition of this book, first published in 2007. It is borne out of the desire to properly guide students in their choice of discipline of Law as a course of study and to provide them a sure guide in their aspiration of joining the Legal Profession. After the 2020 Call to the Bar Ceremony in September, 2020 (The COVID-19 Set), some of the newly called lawyers posted online their pictures in which they were adorned in all sorts of dresses with their wigs and gowns on. Some persons were so irked that they protested in writing to the Body of Benchers and Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee.
